Job Description
Location: Pittsburgh PA 15232
Weekly Pay Rate: $2000 - $2160
Duration: 12-week contract
Shift: Variable shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic exams including routine diagnostic X-rays with a high degree of accuracy and skill
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Prepare calibrate and operate equipment in compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Verify patient identity and obtain informed consent prior to procedures
- Position patients correctly to achieve optimal images
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in PACS and EMR systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and other members of the healthcare team to deliver quality care
- Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment following infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Respond promptly to patient needs demonstrating compassion and professionalism
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in Radiography (required)
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N) (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- 1 2 years of recent radiology/nuclear medicine experience
- Strong understanding of imaging safety principles and radiation protection
- Excellent communication teamwork and organizational skills
