Job Description

A well-established market leader in the industrial equipment industry seeks a Sales Representative to join their Gqeberha-based team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in a company that invests in their employees.

R 40 000 CTC PM
Permanent Position

Purpose of the Role
Responsible for achieving regional sales and profitability targets for pre-owned forklifts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and growing market share within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and achieve regional revenue and profitability targets.
  • Provide leadership and maintain high service standards for both internal and external customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Establish an environment conducive to future sales growth.
  • Sell value-based solutions to customers.
  • Direct sales activities in the region including resource allocation and customer engagement.
  • Align priorities with corporate objectives.
  • Develop and execute regional business plans.
  • Analyse market trends and gather competitor intelligence.
  • Submit call reports and maintain CRM data.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements
  • Matric with a relevant qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience.
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment would be an advantage.
  • Prior formal sales training is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Autoline and CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region.
  • Ability to understand and articulate product-specific features and benefits.
