Job Description
-Identify prepare analyze and report variances scrap and returns
-Review costing models and identify areas for standardization and process improvement
-Identify cost savings from manufacturing operational improvement
-Conduct research and analytical studies related to cost analyses/profitability
-Coordinate information and business requirements to various departments
-Work with IT for improvements and issues
-Maintain inventory and cost accuracy within the ERP system
-Assist with year-end reporting (audits taxes etc)
-Assist with journal preparation and closings
-Analyze inventory valuation and reconciliations
-Direct cycle counts and physical inventories
-Work well with customers and departments
-Other duties as assigned
-Bachelors Degree in Accounting
-CPA or CMA is required
-Experience in manufacturing accounting
-Experience in public accounting
-Lean manufacturing is a plus
-Experience with Oracle ERP or SAP
-Strong experience with Excel
