Qualifications
Depending on experience candidates may be considered for one of the following labor positions:
- Labor Foreman
- 1015 years of construction experience
- Proven ability to manage and lead a labor crew
- Strong leadership and coordination skills on active job sites
- Journeyman Laborer
- Minimum 5 years of experience on construction sites
- Skilled in material handling and debris/rubbish removal
- Able to perform site dewatering sweeping and general labor tasks
- Reliable and adaptable to various site needs
- General Laborer
- No experience necessary
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Interest in growing into a journeyman laborer role
- Not intended for candidates seeking apprentice carpenter roles
- Cleaning Laborer
- Typically assigned late in the construction project
- Responsible for finish/final cleaning
- Tasks include vacuuming wiping down surfaces cleaning glass etc.
- Attention to detail and pride in delivering a clean finished space
Responsibilities
- Receiving material deliveries organizing materials and material inventory
- Building scaffolding and temporary structures
- Staging jobsites
- Assisting carpenters
- Job site clean-up
