About the Job
AT A GLANCE:
We are looking for someone passionate about fly fishing to help us be the best part of our customers day.
We are a hunting & fly fishing boutique style store with a one-of-a-kind mix of outdoor adventure all under one roof. We are looking for someone to join our team that can bring their fly fishing experience to help our customers select the right gear on the floor and learn about fly fishing out on the water.
STORY FIRST:
Great stories can change hearts and minds when they are built to accomplish something from the outset. We built our company to change how our customers view themselves in their communities and the outdoors. How do we teach people that they have a responsibility in the outdoors How do we show them that there is more to the outdoors than just showing up outside How do we lower the barrier to entry to outdoor activities through the stories about our experience partners Why are some of the healthiest human beings strongly tied to outdoor activities like angling archery and shooting sports How do we make this a centrist brand focused on being a good person And perhaps most notably how do we show the world that the outdoors should bring us together not divide us
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role is a full-time on-site role here at our one of a kind shop. We offer all the standard benefits youd come to expect from a great retailer: medical dental vision paid time-off and product discounts. This role allows for extra income hosting lessons or guides.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Work in store focusing on great customer service sales and educating our customers about fly fishing. Additionally help assist in overflow for the apparel & lifestyle hunting and firearms areas.
WHAT YOULL NEED:
- Experienced in detailed and technical fly fishing equipment and rigging
- A strong passion for customer service and sales in fly fishing and the outdoors
- Self-motivation organization and a positive outlook
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous retail experience a plus
- International & Local Fly Fishing knowledge a plus
- Must be comfortable around firearms
