Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQL/Oracle Developer with 4 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing optimizing and maintaining SQL queries and Oracle database systems to support application development and data analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of relational database concepts performance tuning and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain efficient and reliable SQL queries stored procedures packages and functions in Oracle databases.
Work closely with application developers data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into robust database solutions.
Optimize database performance through indexing query tuning and reviewing execution plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development test and production environments.
Document database designs processes and procedures as part of knowledge sharing and compliance.
Required Skills
45 years of hands-on experience in SQL and Oracle database development.
Proficient in PL/SQL complex queries stored procedures triggers views and functions.
Strong understanding of relational database concepts and performance tuning techniques.
Ability to analyze requirements and convert them into scalable database solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Understanding of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) concepts and data handling will be a value-added advantage.
