Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed an undergraduate engineering program in any discipline at an accredited university
  • Enrolled as an EIT in the Professional Engineers of Ontario or another Provinces equivalent professional organization
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Strong inter-personal skills as the position will be customer-facing
  • Proven their ability to learn and receive feedback from experienced technicians
  • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal format
  • Demonstrated project management skills

Engineer (Full Time) - Edmonton AB

Reporting to the Director of Energy Services for Canada and based in Edmonton AB this is an entry-level engineering position with responsibilities at customer sites throughout Canada. This role provides technical support to the business and is a steppingstone into various technical commercial and business development roles within the largest global industrial gas supplier.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between customer engineers planners and Lindes integrated service team
  • Support the commercial and sales team to plan and execute various projects.
  • Coordinate the fleet assets; building and managing tools to assess and manage the health of equipment and optimize their us.
  • Develop and manage the capital plan for the business in that region
  • Manage the Productivity efforts of the business.
  • Lead operations to solve problems related to equipment repairs supply logistics and job optimization
  • Back-fill for sales account manager and operations superintendent
  • Support business management in developing longer-term and technical projects often related to new service offerings
