Civil EngineerThis is a significant period of growth and we are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Adelaide team.
In this role youll contribute to a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects across the Defence Water Transport and Buildings sectors. These include roads rail water infrastructure land development and building-related civil works. Experience in civil designparticularly for defence and infrastructure projectsis highly desirable.
As part of the Civil Engineering discipline group your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engineering design calculations technical specifications and reports.
Leading and managing design teams to meet technical quality and delivery standards.
Planning and executing engineering tasks across concept preliminary and detailed design phases.
Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams locally and nationally to deliver project outcomes.
Engaging with project managers design managers and clients to provide updates and prepare well-structured proposals and documentation.
Reviewing designs to ensure compliance with standards guidelines and project requirements.
Mentoring junior engineers and supporting the development of the discipline group.
Assisting in the preparation of bids and tender submissions.

As the ideal applicant you will have:
A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
CPEng preferred
Experience working within an engineering consulting environment
Experience working in a broad range of infrastructure projects within a multi-disciplinary environment
Previous experience in Civil Infrastructure for projects in one or more of the defencebuilding civil and transport sectors is essential in the role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with relevant standards and design guidelines to the civil engineering discipline
The ability to obtain chartership within a reasonable agreed time frame
A Practical knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety
Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance
