Data Visualization Subject Matter Expert II
Premier Enterprise Solutions is seeking Data Visualization Subject Matter Expert to support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)). This position will be responsible for developing visually engaging and intuitive data visualizations that effectively communicate complex information and trends and utilizing industry best practices and innovative design techniques to enhance the understanding of the data.
Tasks will include:
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of relevant data sets provided by OUSD(I&S). Work closely with OUSD(I&S) personnel to understand the specific data requirements and objectives.
- Develop visually engaging and intuitive data visualizations that effectively communicate complex information and trends. Utilize industry best practices and innovative design techniques to enhance the understanding of the data.
- Create interactive dashboards that allow OUSD(I&S) stakeholders to explore and analyze data dynamically. Dashboards should be user-friendly responsive and tailored to the specific needs of various users within the organization.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into a cohesive and unified platform for visualization. Ensure data accuracy consistency and relevance.
- Provide customizable solutions that allow OUSD(I&S) to modify visualizations and dashboards based on evolving requirements. Ensure scalability to accommodate future data expansion.
- Conduct training sessions for OUSD(I&S) personnel on the use of data visualization tools and dashboards. Develop comprehensive documentation for reference and troubleshooting purposes.
- Offer ongoing maintenance and support services including troubleshooting bug fixes and updates to ensure the continued effectiveness of the data visualization tools. Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau Power BI and other data visualization platforms.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights through intuitive and informative visualizations.
- Design and implement visualization best practices to enhance data storytelling.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver customized visualizations.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Five (5) years of experience in Data Visualization
EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree from an accredited school is required
CLEARANCE
Active TS/SCI is required.
