Job Title: District Game Manager

General Description:
- Works with the District Athletic Director and school Principals in the oversight and supervision of sports and sports activities sanctioned by the KHSAA and the Estill County Board of Education.
- Works with the District Athletic Director and school Principals in the oversight supervision and orientation of all coaches regarding site and district policies procedures
and expectations; and works to ensure that all coaches comply with all KHSAA Rules and
procedures
- Works with the District Athletic Director and school Principals in the oversight and supervision of preparation for game day activities including but not limited to facility inspection tickets concessions officials and game management as assigned by the principal
- Works closely with staff and the site administration to develop and enforce the athletic/academic code of conduct
- Works closely with the coaches school nurse trainer and team physician to ensure athlete safety is priority one
- Other relevant duties as assigned by the Superintendent/Designee
Duties and Responsibilities of the District Game Manager
- Work with the District Athletic Director and Principal to coordinate the overall athletic program (including cheerleading) and coaching staff.
- Manage and direct all home athletic events including postseason events.
- Coordinate the collection and depositing of all event ticket funds.
- Work with the District Athletic Director Principal coaches and Superintendent to coordinate the preparation maintenance and improvement of areas used in athletic practice and contests.
- Attend all assigned home athletic events.
Work-Related Requirements and Characteristics:
- Working knowledge of athletic programs
- Understanding of KHSAA rules and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively

Final Note:
The Principal of the high/middle school in the Estill County School System is responsible for all activities of the school including athletics. It is the responsibility of the Principal to make final decisions in all matters pertaining to school activities.
