Job Description

The Role: Meadow Brook School is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to serve as our School-Year Secretary in our vibrant early childhood setting. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent multi-tasking organizational and problem-solving skills. A friendly professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills are essential in helping create a school environment that is welcoming and responsive to families students and SmartFind Express to manage and assign daily substitutes for staff absences and meetings including some responsibilities outside regular school hours; this duty includes an additional confidentiality while managing sensitive student and school informationManage interoffice and postal mail; answer and route phone calls professionallyMonitor the schools video surveillance systemOperate the schools intercom system and make announcements as neededCreate the daily parent pick-up listOrder and track school supplies using Munis; manage inventory and distributionSubmit school payroll grids timesheets and applicable payroll formsWork closely with the Principal to manage student activity funds and petty cashSecure substitute personnel Assist with employee reimbursement forms and other clerical needs as directedQualifications:Experience with PowerSchool Munis Google Suite and Microsoft OfficeStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environmentStrong initiative reliability and attention to detailThis is a 10-month (school year) position offering the opportunity to support students staff and families in an early childhood education setting.ELPS is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment where employees feel valued respected and are empowered to be their unique selves.
