Setting:Maricopa County Jail
Paid Weekly 12hour shifts 3x week

Position Overview:

We are currently hiring a reliable and compassionateCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA)to join our healthcare team in ajail/correctional facility setting. This role plays a vital part in supporting the well-being of incarcerated individuals by assisting with medical care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills professional integrity and the ability to maintain safety confidentiality and respect in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily medical care and support within the scope of CNA practice

• Monitor and document vital signs (temperature pulse respiration blood pressure)

• Transport or accompany inmates to medical appointments or infirmary care within the facility

• Observe and promptly report changes in physical or emotional condition to licensed nursing personnel

• Assist in emergency medical responses under the direction of licensed staff

Required Qualifications:

• Active CNA licenseissued by theArizona State Board of Nursingor aCompact State

• Current fit testingfor N95 particulate respirators

• CPR / First Aid

• Minimum 1 year of prior experienceas a CNA in a clinical or correctional setting
