Position Description
Join Serco as a Hazardous Materials Driver in Indianapolis IN! This is a second shift position.
Serco supports a large utility fleet operation diagnosing fueling and repairing light medium and heavy duty diesel trucks and other utility fleet equipment.
As s Hazardous Material Driver you can expect to:
- Fuel all diesel units on location from customer supplied fuel truck
- Top off DEF in every diesel unit once per week
Check oil in every unit once per week
Fueler will be required to work overtime when AES in on storm duty (basically whenever severe weather causes mass power outages)
Fueler will be responsible for keeping AES Indiana pool vehicles clean inside and out.
Other duties possible at the customers discretion. - Operate automotive & diesel vehicles and construction and material handling equipment
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least 3 years of related experience.
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Valid drivers license with good driving record.
- Customer focused strong work ethic and positive.
- Be a safety oriented individual.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Class B CDL with a hazmat endorsement is preferred
