Job Summary:
The Department of Pediatrics Section of Developmental Biology seeks an exceptional professional research technician at the level of Senior Laboratory Sciences Professional. The Section is focused on understanding cellular molecular and genetic mechanisms of fetal and child development using animal cell and organoid models. The Senior Laboratory Sciences Professional will support research performing molecular cloning PCR gel electrophoresis cryosectioning fluorescent in situ RNA hybridization and immunohistochemistry and using laser scanning confocal microscopes and imaging software to obtain data and analyze data. This individual will also have responsibility for managing and genotyping zebrafish stocks and training others in zebrafish husbandry.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as
$54440 to $69248
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
