T-Mobiles Product Portfolio & Device Management (PPDM) team is at the forefront of delivering innovative value-driven solutions across Connected Devices Accessories and Protection Products. Within this organization the Insights & Decision Support pillar serves as the strategic compassaligning financial performance strategic planning and opportunity sizing to shape the long-term success of our portfolio.Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Forecasting
Analyze and track P360 revenue and cost drivers including premiums attach rates and claims expenses.
Maintain and improve forecast models and financial dashboards in collaboration with FP&A.
Identify trends risks and opportunities that impact program profitability and long-term growth.
Business Case Development
Build and present business cases for changes to P360 pricing structure or servicing model.
Quantify strategic levers and run sensitivity scenarios across different assumptions.
Support executive presentations with clear storytelling and data-backed insights.
Reverse Supply Chain & Servicing Analytics
Work with operations and supply chain teams to understand device routing repairs and liquidations.
Trace operational trends (e.g. repair rates claim frequency) to financial impact.
Develop cost optimization and value recovery insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Engage with Product Retail Ops Customer Care and Assurant to align on servicing strategy.
Drive alignment between strategic goals and financial performance across teams.
Decision Support & Leadership Alignment
Contribute to monthly business reviews with actionable insights.
Translate complex data into recommendations that shape P360s evolution.
Monitor KPIs to ensure P360 meets its financial customer and operational goals.
Qualifications:
Required:
7 years of experience in Finance Strategy Business Analytics or related fields.
Proven experience in forecasting financial modeling and building business cases.
Strong Excel and financial analysis skills; experience with SQL or BI tools like Tableau/Looker.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including executive presentations.
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Preferred:
Experience in telecom insurance device protection or reverse logistics.
Familiarity with device lifecycle repair/replace operations and consumer warranty models.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. Bachelors degree required.
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile employees in regular non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
