Marching Band Dance Instructor
JOB SUMMARY:
Dance Instructor for the Everett Crimson Tide Marching Band program for Grades 9-12 will provide Dance Instruction for students with additional opportunities to develop their Dance and Movement skills.
WORKING TIMES:
June 1 2025-May 31 2026
POSITIONS:
1 Dance Instructor for the Everett Crimson Tide Marching Band
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Prepare and teach color guard routines and marching drill design
- Develop Dance Technique Program
- Attends all competitions (approximately 4) and home football games as needed by the Marching Band Director
- Attends all rehearsals during the course of the fall season
- Attends Band Camp
- Teaches dance and movement to the Colorguard section of the marching band
Requirements
- 2 years of experience teaching dance technique for marching band Shows.
- Ability to stay organized in order to plan events and assist the Crimson Tide Marching Band Director in all aspects of running the Colorguard Section of the Band.
- Knowledge of dance techniques and pedagogy as well as modern dance techniques.
