JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Bilingual Training Specialist (Spanish) to support our training and development initiatives by translating training materials and delivering Spanish-language onboarding and training sessions. The ideal candidate will ensure that Spanish-speaking employees receive clear effective and culturally relevant training. A strong commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment is essential.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Training & Facilitation: Lead Spanish-language onboarding sessions for new employees and facilitate ongoing training in workplace policies procedures and job-specific skills.
- Translation & Localization: Translate training documents presentations and learning materials from English to Spanish ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Instructional Support: Collaborate with training and HR teams to develop Spanish-language learning resources including e-learning modules manuals and instructional videos.
- Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate trainee performance gather feedback and adjust training methods to ensure comprehension and engagement.
- Compliance & Safety Training: Assist in delivering safety compliance and regulatory training to Spanish-speaking employees.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with department managers and HR to ensure training aligns with company objectives and employee development needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date on training best practices and suggest improvements to enhance learning effectiveness for Spanish-speaking employees.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in training employees on the job.
- Experience in facilitating classroom training to a group of employees.
- Knowledge of product standards critical control points food safety and workplace safety rules in a food manufacturing plant.

- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)

- Operating knowledge of personal computers which includes experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint etc.)
- Work with new hires on clear expectations from the plant as well as their supervisors
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Knowledge of spreadsheet software presentation software and word processing software.
- Ability to see a gap or need and create the solution
- Able to become familiar with SQF training standards
- Working knowledge of Alchemy or ability to learn
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Manufacturing plant environment
- Office environment
- Must lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- If needed work outside of shift and/or times to continuously support the training needs in the plant
FOOD AND WORKPLACE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Proactively manage safety by ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations and internal Company policies. Regularly complete behavior-based safety observations.
- All employees are responsible for upholding the principles of the SQF Food Safety Code. All employees are responsible for immediately reporting any food safety food quality safety issues or plant security issues to management for appropriate action.
