Caretaker - Duluth

Tesoro Groupis seeking a Caretaker to join their team at 1 one of their properties in Duluth MN (55805). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in caretaking and porter duties as well as basic maintenance skills. Experience in residential or multi-family housing is highly preferred. This role is contracted and expected to last 30-90 days in length (this role could become permanent for the right candidate).

Schedule: This role is part-time and requires approximately 24 hours per week.

Pay: $18-$21/hour DOQ. This role is contracted and expected to last 30-90 days in length (this role could become permanent for the right candidate).

The Caretaker is responsible for managing the daily cleaning of the site to provide a well-maintained and socially healthy apartment community.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning apartments hallway corridors and models
• Picking up garbage including dog waste and emptying garbage cans on the property
• Removing leaves from entries/shoveling snow within a reasonable timeframe
• Sweeping stairwells/knocking down bird nests
• Lock changing shoveling salting picking up trash replacing lightbulbs vacuuming sweeping mopping helping with unit turns and other duties as assigned.
• Delivering letters and flyers.
• Report to the front desk as needed for coverage.
• Misc. duties as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 1 years experience within a porter or groundskeeping role residential multi-family experience is highly preferred.
• Light maintenance experience lock changing shoveling salting picking up trash replacing lightbulbs vacuuming sweeping mopping helping with unit turns and other duties as assigned.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Maintain a hospitality mindset when working with residents.
• Hold a valid Drivers License and active vehicle insurance.
• Be able to pass a background check before employment.
