Current Custodial Positions

We are currently accepting applications for Custodian positions.

10-month contract with possibility of extra duties during 2 summer months

Beginning salary $10.92/hr. Benefits after a 45-day probationary period.

Shift 8hr. Early (6a-2:30p) or Late (Late morning to early evening)

Position Summary:

• Perform routine custodial duties at assigned school during an assigned shift; clean classrooms restrooms shower/locker rooms corridors and other assigned areas.
• Move and arrange furniture and equipment; set up and assemble chairs tables and other furniture and equipment for special events and activities; clean up furniture equipment and debris following these events.
• Assist with ground maintenance and snow removal activities as required.
• Clean light fixtures windows walls furniture blinds carpet and other related items. Strip scrub and refinish floors; frequency and timing to be determined by Site Head Custodian.
• Operate custodial equipment such as vacuums mops carpet cleaners and blower as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Dependability and professionalism regarding assigned duties and work schedules.
• Must have excellent communication and people skills.
• Previous custodial/cleaning experience is a plus.

Physical Demands:
Specific physical characteristics and abilities are required to perform the work such as dexterity of hands and fingers walk or stand for extended periods of time bending kneeling twisting and reaching overhead above shoulders and horizontally lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing 50 pounds or more and push or pull moderately heavy objects.
