This internship is designed to help you grow your skills and knowledge with guidance from experienced mentors giving you practical hands-on experience as you begin your journey in Data Engineering.
Youll explore key areas such as SQL Snowflake PowerBI Python Spark Cloud Technologies (Azure Data Fundamentals Azure Data Lake Storage etc) Git CI/CD pipeline containerization orchestration project lifecycle Scrum/Agile methodology.
What do I need to be an internship candidate
- Be a student in an IT-related field such as Software Development Data Science or a similar discipline and/or have some foundational experience with programming data science or similar. Be sure to include any personal projects as well as any bootcamps workshops or courses youve completed in your resume.
- Great command of the English language.
- Have at least 30 hours available per week.
- Please include all the technical projects youve built in your resume or GitHub profile if any.
- Successfully pass the selection process.
Details
Duration: 11 weeks (August 18th October 31st)
- Schedule: 30 man-hours/week/student presence at the local Encora office.
Structure:
- Weeks 1-4: lessons with classes and exercises coordinated by selected technical leads & HCU;
- Weeks 5-10: team project applying and diving into details; all work activities & mentorship to be completed under the selected technical leads & HCUs reviews;
- Week 11: final reviews tests demo sessions project presentation and feedback.
