Job Description
As the Junior Cyber Security Analyst you will step into a role where you will actively investigate document and report on information security issues while playing a key part in protecting yourtowns systems and infrastructure from evolving cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
In this role you will:
- Monitor cyber threats and respond to security events and incidents
- Investigate and report on root causes and support remediation activities
- Lead phishing awareness and testing
- Support audits and technical reviews
- Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security controls
About you:
- Degree-qualified in IT Cyber Security or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
- A keen interest in cyber security and staying ahead of emerging threats
