Branch Librarian Lead Your Local Library with GRLC
Queenscliff VIC
Part-time Permanent I 0.7 - 49 hours fortnight

The Geelong Regional Library Corporation (GRLC) is seeking a dynamic Branch Librarian to lead one of our vibrant community libraries. In this pivotal role you will manage daily operations support a passionate team and activate the library space for community learning connection and inspiration.
What youll do:
- Deliver library services programs and events that meet the diverse needs of your community
- Supervise and support a small team fostering capability and collaboration
- Manage collections rosters and the day-to-day running of the library
- Build strong local partnerships and conduct targeted outreach
- Ensure your library remains welcoming inclusive and forward-thinking
What youll bring:
- A degree or diploma in a relevant field or experience managing library services
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and community engagement abilities
- A passion for public libraries and a community-first approach
- Tech-savvy with experience in library systems and digital resources
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence
- WWCC (Employee) & recent Police Check required
Who we are:
GRLC delivers inclusive innovative and accessible library services across 5 local government areas. We operate 20 libraries Victorias largest regional archive and heritage centre and a 25-stop mobile library service.
