Description
The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the General Ledger team of Caesars Digital - Las Vegas Nevada in preparing accounting records and administering financial processes. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Gaining knowledge of sportsbetting systems and underlying calculations.
- Creating and reviewing detailed complex spreadsheets.
- Adhering to GAAP principles SOX compliance and internal controls.
- Preparing and reviewing reconciliations and journal entries.
- Training and coaching staff accountants.
- Aiding staff accountants with problem solving and researching discrepancies.
- Assisting Accounting Managers with Lease and Contract Accounting.
- Preparing monthly quarterly and bi-annual/annual revenue and profit shares.
- Overseeing partner billing submissions and partner receivables.
- Preparing quarterly bi-annual and annual business licenses.
- Communicating monthly results and maintaining relationships with sportsbook partners.
- Assisting with internal and external audit requests as required.
- Supporting Accounting Managers and upper-management with adhoc requests as required.
- Prepared to assist and support their team members when required and work as a cohesive unit.
- Upholding departmental policies procedures and quality standards.
