General Summary
The Conservation EducationFellow is a 10-month learning opportunity for emerging professionalsinterested in informal education and conservation. Fellows deliver engagingSTEM-based programming to Zoo audiences with a focus on school field tripgroups. Programs are conducted both in person and virtually. This positionsupports the Zoos mission by fostering curiosity inspiring conservationaction and delivering inclusive meaningful learning experiences to allguests.
The Fellow will gain hands-onexperience in program delivery animal handling interpretation andconservation communication while contributing new ideas and creativity to ourteam. This role also aligns with the Zoos broader goals in conservationsustainability education and DEAI (Diversity Equity Accessibility andInclusion).
