Key job responsibilities Our team is looking for high-performing design leaders to drive both big-picture vision and fast-paced execution delivering near-term results while exploring future opportunities. In this role this UX designer will work closely with UX Research as well as Product and Engineering partners. Collaboration and product ownership is essential as well as being a great communicator who can tame ambiguity and create alignment among stakeholders. In this role you will help create AI-powered solutions for AWS customers to help simplify cloud operations and accelerate their success.
About the team AWS Support is revolutionizing cloud operations through AI innovation developing intelligent solutions that anticipate and resolve customer needs. We help customers adopt optimize and operate AWS at scale through our technology and expertise. Our team manages essential customer-facing platforms including Personal Health Dashboard AWS Forums and Support Center. As a strategic partner in customers AWS adoption journey we drive both customer success and direct revenue growth.
- 8 years of industry experience as a user experience designer interaction designer information architect or similar design-related role. - Experience acquiring user data (e.g. conducting usability studies performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps. - Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs. - Bachelors degree in design / human-computer interaction (HCI) or equivalent years of experience. - Professional proficiency in high-fidelity mockup and prototyping tools such as Figma or equivalent. - Portfolio of work demonstrating breadth and depth in UX and visual design. This should also include approach and process.
- Experience with UX design of complex workflows - Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills for technical and business executives internally and externally. - Experience with design for business and engineering customers - UX design experience across global markets. - Experience working with enterprise design systems. - Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast-paced often ambiguous environment. - Experience working with distributed teams.
