Job Description

Mistequa Casino and Hotel currently has an opening for a Table Games Dealer. Working on the Table Games requires patience and attention to detail. It also requires the ability to learn as Mistequa Casino offers a variety of ways to play from casino favorites to modern twists. The Table Games Dealer will be the person to conduct the operations of the game that is being played. It will start by selling chips to the players then dealing the cards paying and taking bets all while observing proper game rules. It is required that this be done with a positive attitude towards those that are playing those that are watching and other Team members.

At this time we are looking for an Experienced Table Games Dealer only.

Other Duties Include:

  • Be responsible for the accuracy and proficient manner in dealing with a specific table game while assuring the protection and control of the game being dealt.
  • Advise the Table Games Floor Supervisor (or other personnel) of any important or relevant fact(s) regarding specific players and their actions.
  • Notify the Table Games Floor Supervisor of any guest transactions and/or needs.
  • Check that all cards are present within the deck when opening games. This includes checking the front and back of cards for marks.
  • Ensure that all guests playing at the table are of the current age limit. This could include checking the guests identification to verify age if the floor staff is busy.
  • Ensure the integrity of the game by abiding by proper policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that the proper amount of chips is issued during a buy-in from the guest and that the proper payoffs are made.
  • Observe players for signs of cheating scams or irregularities in play. Notify Management and Security of any suspicious activity.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned. This may include cleaning equipment and preparing the gaming area for opening.
  • Ensure that the gaming area is kept neat clean and safe during the entire shift.

As an employee of Mistequa we require that all Team Members maintain a positive and productive attitude with guests and fellow Team Members. They are also expected to stay up to date on the current Mistequa promotions and events so that they can share this information with our guests on a regular basis.


This job requires that the employee can stand for long periods of time. There are minimal lifting requirements for this position. Mistequa Casino is open 365 days per year with hours ranging from 8:00 AM - 2:00 AM (depending on the day of the week). Table Game Dealers are required to work their regular shift during these hours.


Benefits and Pay

Mistequa Casino Hotel offers excellent benefits. The starting pay for this position is $16.66 per hour plus tips. Benefits include Paid Time Off (PTO) medical vision dental and life insurance 401K and many employee discounts and perks. The position requires working in person.


Selected candidates must be able to obtain a gaming license that includes a background check and UA testing (not THC). This requires that the employee be at least 18 years of age and have a current ID and social security card.
