We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about human-centered design grounded in systems thinking and ready to influence how AI is integrated into the way we work. Youll shape high-impact AI tools that reimagine user roles improve processes and accelerate adoption across the enterprise.
The role
As a Senior Product Designer on Entergys AI team youll craft intuitive scalable and engaging digital products that blend cutting-edge AI with the needs of real users. Youll collaborate closely with product managers engineers data scientists and business stakeholders to turn complex problems into simple effective solutions.
This is a unique opportunity to design for both user experience and change managementensuring not just usability but also meaningful adoption of AI-powered tools.
A day in the life
- Balance the needs of multiple teams including ceremonies project meetings and priority alignment answering questions and unlocking challenges as needed.
- Participate in research sessions or stakeholder Interviews to uncover pain points for our internal customer base of engineers planners linemen and more.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Business Analysts to map out current processes.
- Translate user insights and business requirements into wireframes user flows and high-fidelity UI designs that align with accessibility regulatory and technical constraints.
- Sync with your Design team to ensure product alignment as we build out frameworks and build up our departments design maturity as well as quick chats.
- Contribute to our growing design system to support the internal product team.
- Present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders and the team gathering feedback to incorporate to improve the design quality and consistency.
What we need from you
- 7 years of experience in product design UX/UI design or a related field.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions across web and mobile products.
- Mastery of design tools (e.g. Figma).
- Solid understanding of information architecture visual design principles and interaction design.
- Experience working in agile cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication collaboration and presentation skills.
- Bonus: experience in accessibility motion design or front-end development understanding.
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree a plus
