    About the role:

    An exciting opportunity is now available for an Accounts Officer to join our team. This is a full time permanent position based in Labrador on the Gold Coast.

    Reporting to the AP Team Leader you will be responsible for managing the companys financial transactions related to accounts payable and provide general financial support to the wider team.

    This is a high volume fast paced transactional role that requires attention to detail strong organisational and problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of financial processes to ensure the efficient and accurate handling of financial data. You will need to be flexible; customer focussed and work well both autonomously and in a team environment.

    To be considered for this role you need to demonstrate the following selection criteria in your application:

    • Certificate/Diploma in Accounting/Book-keeping or a related field (preferred but not essential).
    • Proven experience in high volume accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.
    • Strong understanding of financial principles and processes.
    • Proficiency in financial software (SAP and MoPro highly desirable) and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented and capable of working with a high degree of accuracy and pace.
    • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance.
    • Team player with a collaborative attitude.
    • A proactive and solutions focused approach.
