The Role
Step into a Senior Producer role in beautiful Hobart where you will lead a small team and set a news and current affairs agenda to engage and grow our diverse Tasmanian audiences. As an experienced producer the role will involve leading the production of the daily Statewide Mornings program and;
- Creating content that sets the local news agenda collaborating closely with the news room.
- Providing editorial leadership creative guidance and supervision for content makers.
- Producing breaking exclusive stories from suitable leads from talkback callers texts social media and your contacts.
- Leading a small team with positivity honesty and the ability to engage in robust conversations.
Position Description:CONTENT MAKER

About You
Ideally you have experience producing live radio programsand understand the flexibility and open minded approach needed for flow radio. To hit the ground running you will also have;
- Outstanding relationship building skills with a generous proactive approach to building and cultivating strong diverse community contacts.
- Leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of local and national news and current affairs issues as they affect Tasmanians.
- Passion for producing content that represents the diverse local community.
