About The Opportunity
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a flair for numbers and a passion for vehicles This exciting position is your chance to take the wheel in an essential estimating role that blends technical knowledge with commercial insight.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating deliveries and ensuring all components are on-site and ready before vehicle arrival
- Managing and maintaining parts and labour matrices to identify margin improvement opportunities
- Converting detailed inspections and diagnostics into precise profitable quotes under time pressure
- Sourcing OEM and quality aftermarket parts while striking the ideal balance between cost and quality
- Collaborating closely with technicians and service advisors to streamline scope avoid errors and ensure customer satisfaction
About You
The successful candidate will bring:
- Previous experience in estimating or parts interpreting or be a qualified mechanic ready to move off the tools
- A solid grasp of vehicle systems workshop operations and repair timelines across light and heavy vehicles
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks calmly and professionally
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of sourcing competitively priced parts
- Proficiency in using workshop management and estimating software
