Job Opening: High School Science Teacher & Boys Coach
Three Way ISD is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a High School Science Teacher and Boys Coach for theschool year. This is a full-time position located at our small rural close-knit 1A campus where relationships and student success come first.
Position: High School Science Teacher (Biology IPC Chemistry or other as needed)
Additional Role: Boys Coach (Sports may include football basketball track and/or other seasonal sports)
Start Date: August 2025
Location: Three Way ISD Stephenville Texas
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification in Science (712 or 812)
CDL or willingness to obtain (preferred for coaching responsibilities)
Bachelors Degree (required); Masters Degree (preferred)
Coaching experience preferred but not required
Strong classroom management and instructional skills
Passion for helping students grow academically athletically and personally
Classroom Teaching:
Teach assigned high school science courses aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)
Create a positive classroom environment that supports student learning
Plan and implement engaging lessons to meet diverse learner needs
Assess student performance and provide timely feedback
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff on instructional strategies and student support
Athletics:
Coach assigned boys athletic teams with a focus on skill development teamwork and sportsmanship
Attend practices games and events as required
Support athletic program goals and work closely with the Athletic Director
Ensure student-athletes maintain academic eligibility and represent Three Way ISD with integrity
Four-day school week
