An exciting opportunity for a Rail Electrical Design Engineer to join an established and dynamic in-house design team specialising in E&P engineering projects within the rail sector.
Business Unit
Having secured numerous long-term Frameworks with key clients AmcoGiffen is expanding its in-house Civil & Structural Design team. We are offering multiple positions at various levels for engineers dedicated to delivering optimal design solutions building on their experience and advancing their professional growth.
Our in-house design team comprises specialist designers across different competency levels responsible for engineering design on a variety of civils rail and engineering projects. These include CP7 asset management contracts infrastructure projects and tendered schemes involving rail civils and E&P works.
Within the wider business projects typically involve bridge reconstruction/replacement upgrades and refurbishments station works (such as platforms) access-for-all schemes structures including bridges tunnels and footbridges as well as associated E&P works covering Electrification Plant Mechanical Electrical Power Lighting and more.
The Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable rail-focused E&P Design Engineer to join our in-house team. This role will support AmcoGiffen in delivering E&P design services across multiple long-term Frameworks with major clients.
As an Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for developing technical solutions aligned with project budget schedule and quality standards.
To succeed in this role you will have prior experience as an E&P Design Engineer within a rail engineering environment. Your daily responsibilities will include:
