Description
US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Market Development Liaison to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
This position will require travel to our clinic locations across the DFW Metroplex.
Responsibilities:
Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and medical practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor and resource for physicians answering questions about the facility services and capabilities.
- Conduct regular visits to physician offices to build rapport and address concerns.
Referral Management:
- Promote the organizations services and capabilities to drive patient referrals.
- Identify and develop strategic opportunities to increase referrals.
- Work with physicians to streamline the referral process.
Communication and Outreach:
- Develop and implement physician outreach strategies including events presentations and written materials.
- Respond to physician inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Facilitate communication between the organization and referring physicians.
Performance and Data Analysis:
- Track and analyze referral data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Report on referral performance and other key metrics to management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of physician relations strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required with focus on marketing preferred
- Physician practice management (PPM) and/or outpatient multi-site experience preferred but not required
Healthcare Industry Knowledge:
- Understanding of the healthcare landscape (Cardiology preferred) including hospital systems physician practices managed care and relevant regulations (HIPAA Stark Law Anti-Kickback Statute).
- Familiarity with medical terminology different medical specialties and patient referral pathways.
- Knowledge of current trends and challenges in healthcare delivery and marketing.
Marketing and Sales Principles:
- Understanding of marketing strategies branding and communication principles.
- Knowledge of different marketing channels (digital print events direct outreach).
- Familiarity with sales techniques relationship building and account management.
- Basic understanding of marketing analytics and ROI measurement.
Business Acumen:
- Understanding of basic business principles including budgeting planning and reporting.
- Awareness of competitive landscapes and market analysis.
