Community School Coordinator
Anticipated - one year position
Qualifications
- BS degree
- Able to work well with school staff and the community at large
- Familiarity with grants
Certifications
- Maine DOE Certification -Current CHRC
- Motor Vehicle Operators License or ability to provide own transportation (If itinerant position)
Fully ensure the implementation alignment and integration of alf community school programming within the schools vision and curriculum as much as possible.
- Support the research/evaluation of the community school by coordinating the collection of data timely submission of reports and responses to requests for information made by the initiatives leadership.
- Participate in capacity-building and professional development activities including initiative-wide and state training network meetings communities of practice and site visits.
- Other responsibilities as designated by grant that may arise throughout the school year.
Education
- Bachelors from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
- Masters Degree in related area preferred.
Experience
- Experience with federal and state grants
- Primarily School Year
- Some weekends and eveningsbased on school events
- Travel between schools or district buildingsmay be required
- Travel within the communities of RSU 9 may be required
Reports To:Building Principal
Terms of Employment: As determined annually by the District.
Evaluation:Completed annually by Principal
FLSA Status:Exempt
