ABOUT THIS ROLE
This opportunity is for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) within Audibles Information Security and Security Engineering organization focused on our growing Information Security Strategic Data Regulation Technology Resilience and Fraud Defense teams. As a Senior Technical Program Manager in our team you will partner with technology leaders across both Audible and Amazon to positively influence the security and compliance culture with the ultimate goal of reducing security and compliance risks. Examples of initiatives that you will lead will range from cross-organization programs to drive down operational risk and defend against fraud.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager you will...
- Build a deep technical skill set in Audible technologies with specific focus on fraud defense technology resilience and information security
- Coordinate large cross-organizational fraud defense resilience and compliance projects across Audible technology teams
- Develop automation to scale the delivery of our compliance programs and help our technology teams deliver more reduce the administrative burden on our technology teams
- Effectively communicate across the organization the purpose and status of our compliance programs ensuring that risks are well understood and properly managed
- Drive the preparation and execution of Audibles Scaled Agile planning ceremonies
- Define and drive adoption and visibility of key planning metrics goals and milestones throughout the development lifecycle and company planning process; define smart tools content and methods to execute on the strategy
- Strive constantly to improve establishing higher bars in project planning and execution performance using objective metrics; mine program data and perform analysis of key metrics; provide actionable insights
- Draw inspiration from industry best practices around technology tooling and planning and bring this learning back to
- Work with cross functional teams technology business and operations - to manage multiple projects that have conflicting needs and priorities from concept to launch
- Interface and communicate with Development and Product teams along with other TPMs on a daily basis
- Proactively consistently and transparently communicate project risks progress launches and retrospectives across all stakeholders and teams

- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Ability to navigate an ambiguous environment
- Prior experience in fraud defense technology resilience or information security
- Able to diplomatically disagree and align when dealing with different stakeholders
- Results oriented and with a customer focus
- Prior experience in building service oriented (SOA) distributed systems
- Adept at usage of tools such as Jira and Confluence

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
