Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Research Assistant to join our research team focused on Embedded AI Multimodal Sensing and Machine Learning for applications in fitness health and wellness. This is a hands-on position that offers a student the opportunity to work with Assistant Professor Jingping Nie on high-impact research problems collaborate across disciplines and contribute to top-tier publications.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
- Exposure to course work in STEM -related fields.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
- Course work in STEM -related fields such as Electronical Engineering (EE) Computer Science (CS) Electrical and Computer Engineering ( ECE ) Biomedical Engineering ( BME ) Data Science or related fields. - Strong proficiency in Python mobile app development and/or embedded systems. - Prior experience with machine learning and at least one of the following: acoustic language or vision foundation models; health-related data analysis (e.g. biosignals EHR etc.)
