Job Title: Certified Forklift Operator Sit DownLocation: Linden NJSchedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (No weekends)Pay Rate: $20/hourType: Temp-to-PermBenefits: Medical (MEC Plan) 5 Paid Sick DaysJob Description:We are seeking a reliable and experienced Certified Forklift Operator to join our team in Linden NJ. This position is focused strictly on loading and unloading containers from the port. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sit-down forklift operation and a proven track record of safety and efficiency in high-volume :Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload cargo from shipping containersHandle materials with precision and care to prevent damageVerify load information inspect equipment and report any issues or inconsistenciesMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelinesCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operationsRequirements:Must have a valid Forklift CertificationMinimum 3 years of recent sit-down forklift experienceExperience working in port environments or with containerized freight preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyReliable transportation and punctuality
