Job Description
- Responsible for overall direction objectives andresults for the Pharmacy
- Providing hands on guidance and participation in day to day operations in the Pharmacy
- Providing on-going consultation and interaction with executive team clinical staff and other department managers on quality regulatory and risk issues.
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state boards of pharmacy statutes and regulations.
- Ensuring strong & effective business relationships with management sales nursing and patient support services teams.
- Demonstrating a commitment to excellence through focusing on quality care and/or services.
- Providing clinical services such as drug information drug therapy monitoring prevention of drug interactions patient education medication reconciliation and staff in-services.
- Pharm D degree or Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy
- Licensed to practice as a pharmacist in AR active AR license in good standing
- 2 years experience in infusion pharmacy operations preferred
- IV/Sterile infusion experience desired
- Leadership experience and excellent communication skills a must
