We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join Stoneham Central Middle School as a Spanish World Language Teacher for 7th and 8th grade. As a member of our World Language department will play a crucial role in fostering students language proficiency cultural understanding and love for world language learning.

Develop and implement effective lesson plans instructional materials and assessments to meet the diverse needs of students learning Spanish.
Teach Spanish language skills including speaking listening reading and writing using a UDL approach that utilizes various techniques and strategies.
Provide engaging and interactive classroom instruction to facilitate language acquisition and develop students cultural awareness.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active student participation student-centered learning and collaboration.
Proficiency in using technology and educational tools to support language instruction.
Assess students progress regularly through assignments tests projects and oral evaluations and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
Identify individual student needs and adapt instructional strategies accordingly to support their language development.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on the latest language teaching methodologies and resources.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other school-related events as required.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom climate that promotes respect understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Spanish Education or a related field Required.
Licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Education in Spanish.
Fluency in Spanish (including native or near-native proficiency)
