About the Role:
Were looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer I to join the Data Engineering team at CoreWeave. Youll be a key contributor to major internal AI initiatives and will help build the intelligent agents and copilots that will power the next generation of internal services at the company.
This is a high-growth opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain deep experience in AI-native software development while collaborating closely with senior engineers and cross-functional partners. Youll work on projects like text-to-sql workflow automation agents and enterprise assistants that integrate deeply into CoreWeaves infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of AI-native applications including text-to-sql services data engineering copilots and business process automation agents.
- Build full-stack services that integrate LLMs and AI services into existing infrastructure for IT Data and Analytics.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement production-grade secure and observable AI features.
- Write high-quality well-tested code and participate in code reviews to maintain technical excellence.
- Support the operationalization of AI capabilities with logging monitoring and safety checks.
- Partner with stakeholders across finance operations and engineering.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of professional experience programming in at least one of the following programming languages: Python TypeScript Go Java C# or C.
- Eagerness to learn new tools write clean code and work in a collaborative team environment.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including testing version control continuous integration data structures and algorithms.
- Interest in LLMs (Meta Llama Open AI GPT Anthropic Claude etc.) AI agents and automation technologies; some exposure to these via coursework internships or personal projects is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with vector databases like Chroma or Pinecone to build RAG pipelines.
- Experience developing with popular AI frameworks like Guidance LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Familiarity with modern web frameworks and APIs (e.g. FastAPI Flask React ).
The base pay and target total cash for this position range from $ 101000- $135000 and $111000- $149000 accordingly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. This position includes a discretionary bonus equity and a comprehensive benefits package.

Our Workplace
While we prioritize a hybrid work environment remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office based on role requirements for specialized skill sets.
