Job Description

Were seeking a motivated Sales Application Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a desire to shift into a dynamic client-facing sales environment. Denton TX location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Solution Design: Develop system configurations for UL508A control panels UL891 switchboards UL67 panelboards ATSs UPSs MV switchboards and pad-mount transformers with limited supervision.
  • Value Engineering: Propose cost-effective alternatives that enhance performance and reduce lead times.
  • Quoting & Documentation: Lead the proposal process for large-scale or customized projects ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a technical advisor by reviewing project documents delivering presentations offering specification-based recommendations and representing the company at trade shows and site visits.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business development engineering production and leadership teams to support new product launches and market growth initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing enhancements in tools processes and training programs through feedback and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering experience (sales experience preferred but not required)
  • Strong aptitude for learning and articulating complex technical products
  • Excellent interpersonal presentation and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality proposals and documentation
  • Proactive team-oriented and growth-driven mindset
