Job Description

ABB Controls Engineer (Contract) - Grand Haven MI

DISHER is partnering with a customer seeking aSenior ABB Controls Engineerfor a contract position supporting the installation and commissioning of a new system. This role will focus on supporting the team during install regarding programming integration and startup of ABB control systems.

What you will get to do:

    • Provide final approvals and information needed before install.
    • Work individually and collectively regarding pre-install and install with a team.
    • Commission and test ABB control systems.
    • Design and develop ABB control systems as needed.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABB.

What will make you successful:

    • Extensive experience with ABB control systems and robotics.
    • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Automation or related field.
    • More than 5 years of experience.
    • Experience in documenting engineering process and technical solutions.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with clients and teams.
