Software Technologist - Java DeveloperJob Description
Responsibility & Key Result Areas
Must be an experienced developer with strong Java Spring Frameworkwith experience in one or more data stores (DynamoDB PostgreSQL Redisetc) and messaging queues
Implements the detailed design for Micro services in a standard and efficient way
Unit tests the components developed and reviews others implementation
Be able to proactively identify analyze and resolve complex issues earlier in the development cycle
Manages technical communication with architects
Supports in project estimation planning and risk management activities
Supports the verification and validation team by resolving the issues / defects in a timely manner
Role Competency & Personal Characteristics
5 years of experience in Software development life cycle as a backend developer
Proven experience building cloud native systems and architectures (microservices REST event driven services)
Solid experience in Java Java Spring FrameworkNode. js and MicroService design and development
Good knowledge working with API Integration and Restful Services
Experience in working with datastores like DynamoDB PostgreSQL Redisetc
Exposure to cloud deployment models and tools (dockers Kubernetes etc.)
Good understanding and Exposure to AWS cloud platform would be a plus
Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
Strong desire to learn and work across technology stacks
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner including engineers product managers and clinical specialists
Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
