Position: Manager (Quality Assurance / Production / Customer Service)
Reporting To: Head Quality
Location: Meerut-Uttar Pradesh
Role Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the consistent quality of seeds through implementation and management of quality systems
Handling of customer complaints root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
To ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance in QA seed production processing storage and distribution.
Support cross functional CAPA projects derived from complaints
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Complaint Handling
Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related customer complaints.
Record investigate and resolve complaints related to seed germination Genetic purity Physical admixture moisture and physical damage Packing material
Coordinate with production processing Sales and R&D teams for root cause analysis (RCA).
Ensure closure of complaints with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain a complaint log and prepare periodic analysis reports for management.
2. Quality Systems Implementation
Oversee quality audits during seed production processing storage and dispatch.
Adherence to ISTA and other national/international quality standards.
Implement and monitor SOPs for documentation and traceability.
Conduct internal audits and drive continual improvement programs.
3. Coordination and Communication
Coordination with internal teams (production processing logistics) for quality compliance.
Provide and arrange regular training to field staff samplers and warehouse operators.
Participate in quality reviews with stakeholders auditors or agencies.
4. Documentation and Compliance
Maintain documentation related to seed lots sampling reports test results and traceability.
Ensure all records are audit-ready and comply with certification body norms.
Prepare monthly and seasonal reports for senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Masters degree in Agriculture/ Agribusiness management / Seed Technology or related fields.
Minimum 56 years experience in seed production or quality assurance.
In-depth understanding of seed quality standards and testing protocols.
Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of ISO standards and digital complaint tracking systems is a plus.
