Job title: Portfolio Executive
Salary: up to 50000 bonus
Location: Cardiff/remote
Vargo is working alongside a well-known financial services business to recruit a Portfolio Executive in North Wales.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of high-risk investments implementing strategies for effective risk mitigation and optimal returns.
- Cultivate strong relationships with client businesses ensuring up-to-date insights into their circumstances.
- Facilitate third-party support when necessary actively participating in meetings to drive successful investment recovery.
- Generate precise documentation for client companies and craft insightful reports on portfolio performance.
- Assess potential investments in distressed companies delivering balanced recommendations to senior management.
- Identify recurring themes/issues to shape future investment and portfolio management strategies.
Requirements:
- Accounting or banking experience
- Comprehensive understanding of company law insolvency law and finance-related regulations.
- Experience in a financial or numerate environment with proficiency in analyzing financial information.
