Position at Redmond Kirkland Animal Hospital
Two Part Time Veterinary Assistant Openings!
Location: Redmond WA
Part-Time Work Schedule Needed 1:Thursday / Friday / Saturday
(Will not be scheduled every weekend but must have weekend availability for shift coverage.)

Part-Time Work Schedule Needed 2:Tuesday / Sunday/Saturday rotation
(Will not be scheduled every weekend but must have weekend availability for shift coverage.)
Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at$18 -$21/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills qualifications experience and location.
Role Responsibilities:
- Venipuncture Catheter placement Lab sample collection Admitting and discharging patients Monitoring hospitalized patients Dispensing medications as directed by veterinarians Assisting doctors in exam rooms Assisting with surgical procedures Client communications Cleaning Radiology.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
Must have Washington State Medical Clerks license or be eligible
Has strong client service skills
Requires consistent and reliable attendance
Is proficient with animal handling & restraint
Has a positive can do attitude
Is able to work well on a team and is self-directed
Is compassionate motivated and dedicated
Has strong problem-solving abilities (judgment logic creativity conflict resolution).
Ideally hasat least one year of experience as a veterinary assistant preferredbut not required
