Location: Fort Wayne IN (100% Onsite Relocation Required)
Salary: $120K base (commensurate with experience) Bonus Profit Sharing
Schedule: Full-Time Standard Business Hours

This isnt a desk-only job youll have a direct hand in mentoring engineers interfacing with clients and ensuring every report that leaves the office reflects excellence.
Youll be joining a compact high-performing team in Fort Wayne Indiana that prioritizes no-frills communication technical rigor and real impact on the communities they serve.
What Youll Be Doing

Lead day-to-day operations of a geotechnical team (engineers techs and geologists)

Oversee proposals budgets and timelines while maintaining strong client relationships

Review and approve geotechnical reports analysis and recommendations

Provide mentorship and direction to junior staff guide training and growth

Ensure quality control documentation and compliance across all active projects

Conduct periodic field reviews to verify site and soil conditions
-
Represent the company in professional interactions and problem-solving efforts
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelors or masters in civil or Geotechnical Engineering
Active P.E. license in any U.S. state
5-10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering & materials testing
Proven ability to manage a technical team and coordinate multidisciplinary projects
Solid writing skills for reports and proposals
Strong communication for both client interactions and internal leadership
Willingness to relocate to Fort Wayne IN
Youll Stand Out If You Also Have:
P.E. license in Indiana Michigan Ohio or Illinois
Experience working with local municipalities contractors or developers
Background in hiring mentoring and developing engineering talent
Familiarity with Midwest soil conditions and construction standards
