Contract: Full-Time Permanent (Part-Time Options Considered)
Hours: 40 hours per week 1 in 2 Saturdays (9am1:30pm)
Salary: Up to 65K

The Vet Office is currently seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon for a well-established first-opinion clinic located in Co. Westmeath. This is an ideal opportunity for a confident vet who enjoys a dynamic caseload and a strong sense of teamworkno on-call required.
About the Role
The successful candidate will join a small collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a busy client-focused environment. The role includes:
- Performing consultations surgical procedures and diagnostics
- Managing both routine and non-routine cases
- Building lasting client relationships through excellent communication
- Working alongside a supportive team to ensure seamless clinical operations
About You
This role is perfect for a vet who enjoys variety thrives in a supportive setting and takes pride in delivering top-tier care.
Requirements:
- Registered (or eligible to register) with the VCI by July 2025
- Minimum 12 months experience in a small animal first-opinion setting
- Confident in routine surgeries medical work-ups and consultations
- A strong communicator and committed team player
