Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Web Accessibility Tester with deep expertise in accessibility compliance specifically WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using assistive technologies like NVDA strong communication skills and the ability to mentor teams in accessibility testing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and guide QA testers and developers across digital product teams on WCAG 2.1 AA compliance testing practices.
- Conduct accessibility evaluations of web pages using NVDA and ensure alignment with WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards.
- Document findings and log accessibility defects in JIRA with clear remediation steps.
- Write comprehensive test cases and reports for accessibility validations.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to address and fix accessibility issues.
- Leverage existing training materials (videos handouts) to facilitate accessibility training.
Mandatory Skills:
- 2 years of experience in accessibility testing using NVDA screen reader.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards.
- Ability to write detailed accessibility test cases and defect reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in testing documents using NVDA (not mandatory).
- Trusted Tester certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Prior experience in the banking domain.
