The Company
Our client is a leading global financial institution with strong operations in APAC and EMEA offering a wide range of Capital Markets services. The Hong Kong office is a key regional hub known for its strong technical teams and dynamic environment.
The Team
You will join the Middle Office Reconciliation team a critical group supporting a wide spectrum of asset classes including Rates FX Credit and Derivatives. The team ensures data integrity across front-to-back systems manages trade and position reconciliations and works closely with trading sales and operations.
The Role
- Reconcile trades cash flows and positions (FOBO FOFO BOBO)
- Investigate breaks identify root causes and liaise with FO/MO/BO and IT teams
- Monitor and escalate aging breaks within regulatory timelines
- Perform anti-fraud checks and controls (CATS)
- Contribute to process improvement and risk mitigation initiatives
- Maintain a high level of internal and external service quality
The Requirements
- University degree in Finance Mathematics or Engineering
- 4 to 6 years experience in Capital Markets operations preferably in reconciliation
- Solid understanding of Fixed Income FX and Derivatives products
- Strong analytical and investigative skills; detail-oriented
- Comfortable working under pressure and independently
- Proficient in English and MS Office; knowledge of systems like Murex Summit Kondor is a plus
